About ME

Sam Chen is experienced Designer, Art and Creative Direction and Brand Strategist. He has a passion for design and problem solving all facets. His career began in the fashion industry at a very young age. Sam was surrounded by his family of creative individuals. When he was a young child, his grandmother taught him how to sew and repair hems on garments. He recalled the days when he visited his mother at an apparel garment factory, where his mother was a seamstress. In his teen years, Sam was determined to get into the fashion industry and some day starting a business. He worked his way up into retail and then management. After graduation from the Art Institute of California - San Francisco, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management, he took a leap of faith and ventured out into the jewelry industry by working for a small startup jewelry business and learning the trade. Through the years of designing, product development, wholesale and retail skills under his belt, he decided to start designing for his second passion in leather essentials, wallets and bags.
